I have those "vintage" white wire racks that you hook onto the mid-point part of the window by screws. You can't find these any more. They are "gone with the times".....
Same as those "ceiling to floor" suspension posts with 3 wire "arms" for hanging baskets. I have 2 of them also--they were my Mom's. I have not used them in ages. They are under one of the twin beds in my extra bedroom....along with all kinds of other "treasures".....like 2 huge wall mirrors. Under the other bed (in the same room) are 2 under-bed boxes on wheels with the larger Halloween decorations and my, TRULY vintage all wood skis. Bought them used in the late 50's. I understand many people collect these kind of skis....paying a pretty penny for them.
They are in very good condition. Can't believe I used to ski on those monsters!
