I didn't want to open the lid and disturb him. As you can see, I put cheesecloth between the lid and the cage. It keeps the little ones from escaping (usually) and the bigger cats seem to like that they can easily fit their feet into the spaces. Also, it gives them a really good surface to hook into to secure their chrysalis.
