Also, I'm having the same kind of day with lots of butters flitting through but not stopping long enough for me to get a picture! This one did stop. I had the sprinkler on and a bit of the patio getting wet. This guy came for a drink. I think it's a Texas Emperor, a paler version of the Tawny Emperor. It might be a female Tawny, but I think the spots on the underside mean that it's a male? I'll post a pic of the underside too. Very cloudy here today and I had to take the shot through the window, so I hope it isn't too blurry. |
