You can see the seed pods developing! Whoo Hoo! Shawna - I am so glad my fertilizer mix is working for you! It really kicks the blooms into overdrive! Seedpicker - I don't know about a "glow", but the flowers are an unusual color and when there is a large flush of flowers, it IS definitely an eye catcher! :-) I have plants blooming all over my backyard right now and my eye is immediately drawn to this vine and it's blooms! It's also a vertical plant, so drawns the eyes from the bottom to the top of vine. Because so many of the blooms are different, it allows your eyes to pause as you look at each bloom. It is one of the most unique plants in my entire yard and that is including out of all the MGs I am currently growing as well. I shall be growing this vine and Yaguruma Blizzard every year somewhere in my yard. The Japanese were on to something when they developed the Yourijo gene! It's simply amazing, IMHO! I feel very fortunate to have gotten the parent seeds from Emma to get this cross! I am soooo hooked on MGs! :-) This message was edited May 23, 2008 8:52 AM |
