My iris (beardless) typifolia Caitlin's Smile is opening and my lactea has a few blooms. This fact was not lost on the iris society when they came to get photo tips yesterday. I was sick as a dog and slept from 12-2PM. Took some medicine and they arrived at 3PM. The weather was perfect! They seemed to have a lot of fun. One woman didn't bring a camera-she just sat happily in the adirondack chairs and told me 3 or 4 times how wonderful my garden is. Still feel like doodoo today-achy and runny and feverish. I am really glad I planted lots of new plants on Wed since it rains every night. I could live with this weather forever! |
