This one is exciting for me because this is the first brugmansia that I have registered where I am the hybridizer and the seedling parent.
The cross on this one is Painted Lady x Salmon Perfection. This is a beautiful, petite bloom with a strong fragrance, loves the heat and has shown good bug resistance. Jezebel has all the great qualities of Painted Lady with the petite size of Salmon Perfection. The blooms are 9" (22.86cm)long and 5"(12.7cm) across on the corolla. The tendrils are about 2"(5.08cm) long. She blooms out pristine white with a gradual color change over the course of two days. Finally settling in at a dark pink. She is a heavy bloomer (like her momma Painted Lady) and the blossoms last with a nice shape for several days. Even during some hot days when given partial shade. Jezebel is a winner I think..........but then again I am biased....LOL!!
