Just wanted to wish everyone a very happy Luke Skywalker Day. May the force (fourth) be with you. This lesser-known celebration is held very seriously in the Plumb household. Yesterday we visited went to a friend's house for some goose and took along dessert. Sonora made a cake and decorated it with a scene of Obi-wan Kenobe and Qui-Gon Jin fighting Darth Maul. It's sort of a combinations of scenes from the movie because the place is the desert on Tatooine but Obi-wan didn't actually fight Darth Maul on Tatooine. Ian and I made an edible Jabba the Hutt - Tomato soup cake with one layer baked in a bowl and custard covering it.

We also started watching the movies starting on Friday evening. I like the movies but I find it hard to just sit and watch them as a marathon. Keith and the kids enjoy it though and it's just once a year.
