The one piece with 2 stems broke off as I was digging it up. Moby got that piece. Then the larger piece in the photo I just pulled apart so that one piece had 2 stems and 2 had one stem each. This is how I have always divided lily bulbs and it seems to work, but I sure won't swear it's the right way.
