I sprinkle it around the plants, but more importantly, whenever it rains, I grab my rubber gloves, a container of salt, and head out to the garden and hand pick them, throwing them in the container of salt as I go. I also will toss salt in places where I can't reach. They live for years, breed every month and produce HUNDREDS of offspring.
