I've got to say, this pod finally dried last week, so the dry date is April 20th, 2008... It took an awful long time, I was afraid that the birds would take the pod or something might eat it, etc.. I wonder if it is some record for the longest time to pod maturing around?(maybe not, maybe there are more out there).

Anyway, I know Ron would like to know this info and I'll post the photos here. It was very difficult getting good photos because of the sheen on the silk/cotton looking hairs on the seeds themselves, it was/is very shiny. So, I took some on different items to see if it would help.

Ron, I'm keeping two seeds and sending you two seeds. I've already sent all the parasitica seeds and all your other seeds to you months ago. The pod had only 4 seeds, I may just put them in a specimen catalouge just for ID purposes. In case they are ever needed.

there are several photos to follow, first the pod, then the seeds.
