Happy May Day everyone. Anyone else old enough to remember May Day celebrations in schools. No classwork on May Day, it was more of a fancy field day. The girls had to wear white dresses and we danced around a May Pole, weaving ribbons suspended from the top of the pole. The whole school and school yard were decorated with all sorts of beautiful fresh flowers. Sure sounds unusual today.


Here is Blue Bayou on the second day. It is a small flower, about 5", but the color is saturated and I love this one.
