Turned out to be a nice sunny day today. Perfect for being a volunteer "Ivy Buster" at the botanical garden. As a group of volunteers we yanked and pulled and ripped as much ivy as we could in a few hours. It sure looked better after taking some of this invasive plant out. Got some of the invasive Daphne & Himalayan Blackberry too.

MarilynneS, there's an additional pic of my truck, Mabelline, here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=4796365
A great reliable truck with a little character. This thread http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/828842/ talks about someone who's had Trachycarpus fortunei (Windmill Palm) seedlings in the ground and they're surviving in Toronto for a few years. Maybe Thunder Bay needs a few. I like Grackles.
