Even during the winter though I had great color on Velvet Rose for some of her flushes, at other times I get the pale color too. Hang in there with her and feed her a lot. The color will come. I have to admit though that this is some of the best color I have seen on this one and all winter she is never without flowers. Sometimes just a bloom or two but she always has something on her. I have used this one quite a bit this year in hybridizing. This year my seeds all came in late so I won't be selling seeds on ebay until june or so, but I have some really exciting crosses with lots of the new cultivars coming up for sale soon.
