This is really my very first bloom on one of my very first attempts at crossing Morning Glories. I really did not think any of the crosses I did took, but here is the first one from these plants.

The spokes did not take, but came out like a picotee edge, from the Red Youjiro (aka Rosita), and they all have the Youjiro leaves solid green, no variegation (not yet) maybe it will show up later..

Although I thought when looking at this flower that it looked like a water color, in the photo you can see the spots are there from the Fuji Shibori, but very subtle, it looks splotched almost like when you get the measles and the color is darker than what the photo shows, it picked up the color maroon off the Fuji Shibori.

I'm going to take more photos, this is one of two flowers that opened this morning from the same cross but on separate plants. But was just too excited and have to recharge batteries.






IF I HAVE SENT YOU SEEDS, please, do whatever you wish with them.. you don't have to send me any seeds back, you can trade them, take them and plant them at ditches for all I care.. but, just enjoy them and have fun. If you feel like posting photos, do that too, only if you want to. (I just wanted to make that clear so no-one will feel like they have take special care)
