From our backyard - I was late cutting back the cannas, and was surprised to find two of them in bloom. It's been a fairly mild winter, and 'Tropicanna' seems to be slightly more cold-resistant than my other varieties. The tree is a slowly dying walnut - interesting bark, and it still gives good shade in the summer.
