debnes_dfw_tx wrote: Indigo Bush, False Indigo, Bastard Indigo, River Locust Amorpha fruiticosa I am really enjoying this shrub, (thanks Josephine)!! It is quickly becoming one of my all time favorites for it's many functions and stunning beauty. Functions: Nectar source for many species of early season butterflies. As a larval host plant for Southern Dogface and Silver-spotted Skipper. As a beautiful shrub of a special color of green foliage with great relief texture for the landscape of a native Texas Garden. The blooms are a slow savoring experience all unto themselves. |
