I fly by the seat of my pants.Sallying forth with a vague image of "the plan" at which point I get inspiration when I see something I never planned on- - which means I don't end up with what I planned at all.LOL Here is what I have comming from nurseries and DG gardeners ( may the sun be not too hot for them while gardening) .( my garden isn't as big as some of yours) and I plan on annuals to tuck in while the perennials mature. I have a full sun area under my south facing livingroom window which -for now is my forcing area until mid May. Caladiums and Cannas I had planned some reds because there are two Flame Lilies there , I aslo planned Crocosmia "hot mix from Willow Creek I think. noticed it's where the hose comes from the house. I will have to do some fancy design work around that. Penstamon cobaea? Monks Hood Crocosmia Acanthus Verbascum ( never planned on it--saw it -had to have it) Papaver (a collection) hellebores niger Hellebores 30" tall cant remember -- has palm shaped leaves. I would really love Fall Aster Balloon Flower Bergenia Baptesia a white one if there are any otherwise the blue would be great Goats Beard or anything you have that wouls suite that area The biggest garden is new and bare and only part sun part shade This is the new garden southwest facing. |
