A start was given to my Mother 51 years ago, before her death she gave the plant to me. I had no idea how to care for them, but looks like I have done pretty good through trial and error. They have bloomed from May or June through to October. As soon as the weather warms up here I put them on the north side of my home and leave them out until right before our first big frost. I only repot about every three years or so, and last year I just changed the soil and added a handful of bone meal to the soil. I fertilize with a liquid fertilizer 10-10-10 at least twice a month in the summer and early fall. This is my favorite of all the flowers that I have. Hope you enjoy as much as I do.
