The warmer & drier, the more chance they'll be around. Regular misting with a mister, particularly under the leaves, reduces spider mite infestations.

Today one of the other community gardeners was out there tilling his soil so I got out there and moved some compost into mine too. And then a few others joined in. Just a few moments ago it started snowing/hailing so I came inside. Weird weather.
