I THOUGHT it was a hawk in the first picture. He is well blended. We have an eagle that sits in the same spot all the time.

I wish I had the camera ready to shoot what the bird drove off the tree trunk the other day. A RAT!!! He came back and DH beaned him with a rock. I would have taken his picture, but he was a bit icky.

I shot this bird all the way as I walked to the end of the block. Not sure of it's real name.
