LouC ~ sweetheart ~ I am so sorry on your Lady Banksia. I am no help. I have never grown roses so no idea... I've a thorn aversion. But I am certain a "rose wizard" will come along with assistance. Hope it is no more serious than a rogue squirrel. My sympathy.... pod

Scruffy looking shrub with miniscule blooms ~ fragrant tho. Sweet olive ~ Osmanthus fragrans.
