Christi, I just read about your tragedy! Mine is starting to bloom too and I can feel your pain. It's hard to wait all year and then have something like that happen! I have had squirrels eat all the buds off of my roses, the leaf buds of hydrangeas and azalea blossoms. Sometimes they pull them off and drop then drop them. I hope you find out whats happening and still have enough roses to enjoy.
