I was amazed when I revisited the location yesterday that the plant covered a whole area almost like a weed. It seems quite a hardy type of convolvulus because this patch will be exposed to scorching sun in about 4-6 weeks, so it will be interesting to see if it goes to seed and will be gone or will persist through the summer (somewhat unlikely with the amount of leaves it has it would need a lot of water...).
