Florida sounds fun, especially with all this rain here. When we go on vacation I always feel like I get my money's worth when the weather back home is crummy! Don't you? And I always enjoy it more! I'm sure your seedlings will be fine, too, Illoquin.

Good luck with your salvia seeds, LeBug! (I am still waiting for my second batch of Salvia Seeds from Specialty Perennials--maybe it's time to start badgering them with phone calls again!)

I went through my seeds last night and came across 'Cerinthe' which I haven't heard much about on the DG cottage garden forum. I think I'll start that today unless someone tells me not to! FYI The packet says the cerinthe flower is quite 'fashionable' these days in case you're into 'garden style'!

Is it time to start tomato seeds? Or am I late? I bought three packs of luscious looking heirlooms and some cute tiny tomotoes from Renee's Seeds. I thought I could plant the tiny tomatoes in containers and use them in the cottage garden for accent. I may have to get Earth Boxes for the heirlooms though. We don't have much really good sun (except on the driveway where I could put the earth boxes).

My vines and things I overwintered in the garage are starting to make green shoots. I wonder what I do with them now? Just leave until it's warm outside or do I have to find a sunny window for them?? (I need a greenhouse!!!)

No sprouts in my Wintersowing containers. I put Watersorb gel crystals in with the Promix in those and the containers are looking rather gelatinous and wet. Maybe I over did it, although I thought I measured! Still early for sprouts here though. (if the seeds haven't rotted, that is!)

A few bins from my wintersowing project:
