Sure enough, it was. Better yet, it appears to have found a mate. Maybe there will be baby owls soon (I hope). The owl on the left was the same size as the one on the right ... it was just half hiding in the burrow.

I am sooooooo thankful for having a digital camera. It took me over 30 shots before I got one with both owls looking in my direction. LOL
