Just got a backyard chicken coop with some cute polish & cochin bantams and a couple of standard-size easter egger chicks. I was thinking of allowing them to free-range in the fenced-in backyard once in a while outside their run. The only plants I really care about them not eating are my various aloes and gasteria that I have planted in the ground. Some are large with sharp points and some are smaller and more delicate-looking, although all of them are pretty tough little plants with hard leaves. Any one have any experience with this? I figured I'd post this here instead of the cacti/succulents forum where I usually post. Thanks!

Here's a pic of Ann Margaret, one of my red polish bantams. I love her!
