Thanks Mellie for starting this new one.. great job with the sulphurs and everything. Great WP pics Cat and yes the birds do go for the fruit. I keep fruit out for several of the birds that rarely or never eat seeds. Thanks for posting the pics ..Mrs Ed was right, the RBWP is a stunning photo! The Cardinals are fantastic too!! Sheila~ Sorry I didn't get right to the Conservatory picture posting last Friday, I bet you thought I fell off the face of the earth. Truth is, I did. Magnes had some bad illness last week and he was kind enough to share it with me, (isn't he sweet?) With me it turned into pneumonia... I was so sick I couldn't do anything, even thinking was hard. It was pretty horrible. I went from thinking I was going to die, to wishing I would... Thank God I am getting better now. Last night was the first night i had more than an hour of sleep all at one time and it looks like I am going to live. I had some help pulling me out yesterday, and wouldn't you know it would be a butterfly. Last fall I had several overwintering chrysalids and one of the Giant Swallowtails decided to eclose. This was the last thing I expected because we had SNOW the night before. It was pretty cold back there in the mudroom. I am sure there is more to that than meets the eye, Lord knows I needed some help out of the pneumonia stupor. This really had to be some kind of divine intervention. |
