Poochella wrote: Back in for late lunch: man what a gorgeous day! Susy, for you I will dig the last brunnera that I've been dividing. I did get brave and unearth one hosta for you and Rach. It's the "gold one" LOL in the photo below, lower right. I think it's "Gold Standard" as I even found a label. Also, my corydallis label turned up; life is good! It's called "pere blue" or "pere... something-I-will-check-again-before-tomorrow." Analog- breaking news: the dogwood is 5 ft tall and I do believe that you are getting 3 separable shrubs out of the deal, one for sure has distinct roots. I was too preoccupied with muscling the 40 lb root mass into the cart so didn't pay attention to the other two trunks. :) I couldn't find the little ginger canadense, but I bit my tongue and divided two bits (for Rach and Katye) of my Mom's taller wild ginger, maybe 10" tall, if you guys want it. The smaller, lower version will have to come later, it's just invisible at this point. Got some surprises for Outta and her faithful working hound dog! Yippee. Various extras of a few things, but I think my car is going to be packed with just you guys' stuff. Much is packed a la QFC bag, and largely bareroot. Pixy, Yes, got some extra sibi iris in dk purple for you. Kathy, yes- will bring you the PC Iris as well, no problem. Glad to hear Frosty's compost is working for you. ( Frosty was my favorite goat.) It's good stuff! |
