Nice Waxwing pictures. Early this winter we had flocks of thousands, so I've had a lot of fun playing with them. Looks like you were able to get up close. If you get another chance to shot them, look for bird on the ends of branches with sky for a background. One good blue sky background is worth more than ten shots with junk in the background. (most of the time?) LOL.

On Sunday I took a bird photography trip from Anchorage to Seward and back, about 250 miles round-trip. Shot 220 pictures along the way. I think there might be a couple good shot. This is just a teaser, I'll post a few more as I sort through them. The day ended in an unexpected adventure.
