Had a wonderful surprise today! After the sadness of losing several chrysalises to parasites, this beautiful Monarch eclosed today. I checked first thing this morning, but it was dang cold, 42, so I thought it might wait until tomorrow. When I came home for lunch, I saw a Monarch floating the garden, reminding me to check in the lanai. Found this little chrysalis popped open and it took a few minutes to find the little guy.
