Have not seen this much snow in Southern Maine for a lot of yrs., and still 2 months to go. The birds are real hungry and dependent on feeders now. Have been going thru 25/30 lbs. of sunflower hearts a week, lots of suet. Woodpeckers are even cleaning up the dogs bones. Well at least all the landscape is covered w/ a nice natural mulch. :)
