I planted another clematis on the left side of the entry which is a Josephine (mauve double) flowers..but it is only about two feet high so far. On the backside of the Gazebo is Chinese Wisteria..that bloomed for the first time last year. It was it's fourth summer. Dennis, the frame is made of cedar logs..it sits in the centre of many apple trees...part of an old orchard..I don't do anything with the apple trees..just let nature take it's course. It is on the back third of my one acre property..I call it The Secret Garden..as you walk down a pathh through the trees and it opens up to several small gardens and sitting areas. I have a Hosta garden under the trees..and what I call the "Statue garden" that you walk through an arbour made of Apple wood branches. and in each bed I have a statue. I received two new statues for Christmas that I'll have to find spots for. Those are Heavenly Blue Morning Glories over the Apple arbour..but I have new clematis planted under there too..this year the clematis (Proteus and President) should have grown enough to cover it.
