I have a hard enough time identifying the North American birds. After Ned identified the troupial, I was able to find it in the World Bird Guide. It lists it as Venezuelan.

The zoo in El Paso has a nice enclosure avarian with a pond, rock cliffs and lots of trees. They have some beautiful birds that are free to just fly around where they want. The troupial was one of them. Here's another bird that I found pretty neat looking. I was able to identify this one as an Inca Tern, which is also from South America.
