Here is the rock garden. I know NOTHING about cactus. This was another one of my concept gardens, and a way to curb my shopping! I am notorious for leaving to buy one terra cotta pot and coming home with a car load........so I allowed myself one cactus a week and just plunked it in there. They all seem to be cold tolerant and doing well. Needs to be weeded and cleaned up. My favs are the variegated ponytail, the hoya with sand dollar leaves and the unusual kalenchoe. You can just barely see one of the s-shaped bonzai plumie branches in between the aloe barbadensis and the pencil cactus.
