I keep it pruned for now, but would eventually like to have this semi-circle area cleaned up and planted with something.....prob. bushy, prob. all the same thing (I have textured plantings, uniform plantings, and one island not posted yet that is my "anything" planter bed.) What did dearest suggest- persian violet? I get my violets mixed up because there are a couple of the tropical ones that sound similar to me. Yes, I've noticed that about Dutchlady and her plumies! I need to take a picture now of the plumie I bought last year for the "rock garden." It was like a Charlie Brown Plumeria. The guy was like- you want which one? It was all bonsai-ish. Not upright at all. It is a yellow one with the buttery smell. Also same neighbor that gave me the bromeliad cuttings gave me some plumies. They are in the "putter area" until I figure out where in the yard I want them this spring. |
