The only thing I have blooming in my garden is pansies--bless their sweet little faces!!

I'll tell you something that has surprised me, though. I planted several purple and pink "wave" petunias in my front flower bed this past spring rather than putting them in hanging baskets. Normally, petunias don't make it through our winters--they are considered annuals around here. Well, I can hardly believe it but those petunias are still green and have even survived our most recent very cold weather! I am eager to see if they will make it through to spring and if they will bloom again this year.
