The large leaves drop down as they dry out and certainly make a good mulch as there are sooo many of them! The delicate pink against the green leaves is certainly an eye-catcher. It was interesting to get very close to the flowers to watch the bees at work. I stood and watched the bees stroke their entire bodies,removing all the pollen then putting it into the leg pouches. Incredible how nature works - pretty awe-inspiring!
