African Violets and Gesneriads: Help me with the lights please, 1 by Sallysblooms

The shelves are only 25" wide on the baker's racks. The glass table is about 34" long. They are next to each other. I have been to billions of sites online (lights are WAY to long) and called around town about lights. My husband and I bought some lights at Lowes tonight. I can take them back if they are wrong. They are florescent plant lights. We bought the tubes and had to buy fixtures to put them in. They are black (LOVE that) and have a black light in them, ha. I will replace that.

Will the violets be ok with those tubes? They also get natural light.

Attaching the tubes will be interesting. The racks are all open metal work! We did buy some things to fix them to the racks. Took hours at Lowe's tonight.

For the table I may be getting a big clip-on light with a gro light bulb. I will clamp it to the rack and shine it on the table.

Here is a picture. I have the same kind of table and rack on the other side of the room. Those are orchids though.
