earthtiller wrote: I am posting pictures of my boring backyard. It is tiny and pie-shaped with the shed and greenhouse being at the point of the pie. We moved here in April, so it isn't my fault! =) We have planted a Bur Oak tree (don't think that it is in the pics) and I have just transplanted the euoynomous (sp?) shrub from the small side yard that I will now use as a utility area. I also planted a Bay Breeze Indian Hawthorn on either side of the euoynomous. I little further to the left, I have planted a Rose of Sharon with froebelli spireas on either side. I left enough room between the ROS and spireas to add in 'compacta' Texas Sage shrubs as soon as I can find them! I will most likely grow a Carolina Jasmine on the trellis of the shed. I have wintersown the seeds, just waiting for them to grow. I have some Rosmund Cole cannas to plant in front of the right side of the shed. I haven't decided what to plant to the right of the greenhouse yet. I have several different kinds of shrub seeds wintersown, so maybe one of those. I hope to follow up this post sometime this summer with gorgeous after pictures!!! Necia |
