I learned about Tea Tree Oil from Susie (Calalily) years ago. She had a professional nursery business and swore by it. She told us that she mainly used it on cuttings to help them root fast and without rotting. But it was good also as an insecticde and would even kill fungus gnats. She said it also helped seeds germinate. I have only used it to root cuttings without rot. PoppySue also used to use it with good results as I recall.

Anyway if you are interested in it, I get mine at a health food store but it is expensive there. I pay $10 for 1 oz but it does last a long time. I have heard Walmart sells it for much cheaper but when I went there several years ago no one had a clue what I was talking about.

I will say that I think I read that it is harmful to cats so be careful with it. I may be wrong on that, but that is what I recall from researching it when I first heard about it years ago.

Here is a pic of mine if you are interested in it. And now that I found it in my huge box of potions, I am going to do an experiment with it before mine expires. I need to start a few DPs and I will see how I do with it in winter rooting. LOL
