Last Sunday night, I had to bring a few plants inside since we were expecting a light freeze. My P. anastasia was one of those, and it put out its first bloom the next day! This is a gritensis x caerulea hybrid, and it definitely prefers cooler weather. It suffered through the 90 degree summer temps, but once the cool fall weather arrived (late October down here in the south), it started to put out a lot of new growth, and buds. Here's a pic.
