So now the bed does not offer much variety: aucuba, hellebore, aucuba, all punctuated by the spikey leaves of that bearded iris that's everywhere. I still like it, though, and it takes absolutely no care, no feeding outside of a little bone meal for the iris, with no pests to be found.
