Well if Ardesia thought you should grow out some of her seeds from Gordon's Wild Panamaians. I'm sure you'll do just fine with them... don't over warter them though. it's humid there. but water dry sometimes.... usually the plumeria are found growing on the edge of something..just so they get full sun... and don't have to rub aganst other trees... as their tender branches will leak if they are scraped [personal theory ]
Good Luck with your flowers ....the bunch of flowers posted here are from the tree your seeds came from.. it was about 60'+ tall.. the seed pods were about18" long and were taken from limbs maybe30' off the ground... plumeria tree climbing is such fun...I got up about 15 feet or so with a 20 foot stick to get the seeds... way out on the tips of the higher limbs..
If you'd like to see a bunch of pictures from this trip.. with pilesof plumeria shots.. and some nature there in Panama.. perhaps you can get to the lot of them..here
