Anyway, I guess my husband decided to take things into his own hands. He told me he needed to find a stud and that he needed to drill a few holes so he could cut a chunk of drywall out in a rectangle so that it could be pieced back in with a new piece of drywall then taped and sanded and painted... I told him to go for it that we couldn't be any worse off than we already were (famous last words). Take a real close look at what he hit when he was drilling around looking for a stud before he started using that drywall saw. That doesn't look like a stud to me, does it look like a stud to you?
