For those of you who have so sweetly offered support and encouragement over my last few months of hell, I thank you from the bottom of my heart!! I feel like DG is a place I can go to to get support and healing, even though I have never met any of you in person (except Weez, of course). I am posting here my husband Bill's obituary. It appeared in a paper on the Oregon Coast where I grew up. I also worked at this paper at one time. I added the photo. This photo was taken on our first long weekend together, the one where we both "knew" that this was IT, and said our first I Love Yous! We were both so very, very happy, and it shows on his face. WE were in Nikiski, Alaska in early December, near an old Russian Orthodox church. We stayed an entire weekend at the Kenai Princess lodge in the beautiful snow. I tried my first time at Xcountry sking (never again!) and there were sligh rides and hot tubs and wonderful meals and beautiful northern lights in the sky. It was, like Bill, magic.

So for those of you who expressed an interest in seing the obituary, here it is. I will psot some other plant shots elsewhere in the forum. I have stayed away for this past week due to having company who took over some half done remodeling chores. So wonderful!! It will really help when I put the place on the market to sell.

This Friday I am leaving for a 12 day excursion. I rented a beach house in a town called Yachats (pronounced "YAW hots") on the Central Oregon Coast. I have it for a week. Just me and my Thor Dog. Turned out to be a cheaper deal than a motel, and a lot better situation for both me and the dog. Half block from sandy white beaches and surf, and a beatiful ocean view. The house even has a data port, but I gave both Bill's laptops to his sister and son, so I won't be emailing. :( And while I'm in the area, I am looking at property to buy. I think I've done "my time" in this state called Washington, and I can't wait to leave. I think Bill would have wanted it that way, too.

So thanks all and more later.

YIKES!!! I just looked at the thing and you can't read it at all. I'll try again...but maybe Bill is trying to tell me something??? HA!
