I do have some exciting news to pass on and I will try and do it tomorrow. Our Lone Star newsletter just came out by email and all the terms judges use are in this issue. I hope I won't be in trouble for a very long post. Maybe I can divide it into seconds like: Design Horticulture Excellent Good Poor Then it gives us all the words that judges use in judging plants. It is fascinating to start learning. ***Tia Pink and Coral were the ones I wanted so badly (check out Light Prince columnea) I only took a few pictures as most of what I got was not blooming. As they go into bloom I will be sure and post them. He had some incredible cuttings of 4 different kinds of Aeschynanthus which were 6.50 but that didn't make sense when he had a greenhouse full of baskets that filled the greenhouse for 32.50 each. I didn't want a big basket this time of the year and didn't want to pay 6.50 for 2 cuttings to a 2" pot. |
