Let me show you both success and failure in simply potting up a new baby from the mama av leaf.

I don't know why I don't stick to a sure method rather than trying something new and having it fail.

Here is a picture of a baby plant potted up the right way in a solo cup with perlite on the bottom and wicked also. Then I could keep the babies under a dome on a matting for a while. This Optimara plant has so many good roots that I can go from a solo cup to a 3" pot immediately. (the right way)
