From the beautiful pink blooms--they all turned to "YUK" in a couple of days Hey! It IS time anyway!!! By now--everything in my Garden, that was left out, has frozen. Of course--being a "seasoned gardener" , I do not leave anything out that should NOT be out at this time of year! I still have a lot of leaf-raking to do. At least twice! Did it a few days ago, then the winds hit a few days ago and most of the leaves came down--and now my back yard lawn is, once again, covered in golden leaves. AHHH, Fall!!!! I still have to drop Fall fertilizer on all my perennials and bulbs and shrubs. I tend to forget about this most years, but this is VERY important to do! Have to do it soon! Everything is cut back---dug up---cleared off-----brought in-----I am "almost" ready to put my Garden to sleep and not worry about it any more. EXCEPT--------raking the leaves up. I have 2 trees in my back yard, and they drop their leaves about a month apart. AND--mowing the lawn one last time. I am off ALL next week. I am sure I will get to ALL this mno matter what! How are YOU all doing???????? Are you done with all the Fall chores???? WHAT do you still have to accomplish? Gita Here is my "Endless Summer" Hydrangia just a couple of days ago. Now it is GONE!!!!!!!!!! |
