I have no idea what Blanche's official color is, I hatched my guineas from eggs I bought from ebay last summer, and of the 10 surviving guineas, 2 of them are light colored - the other light colored one is more of a very light grey, and you can see the pattern on his feathers better. All the rest seem to be regular old Guinea Fowl. I did have one that was whiter than Blanche, but an owl got her before we finished covering the run with chicken wire. They free range all day, but they go into the run at night and roost with the chickens in the coop.
