Well I actually got more than the Jay, the sun was shining around midday but soon went to the same old dull. But I took my camera out in hopes, there was birds around, missed the Magpie that floated from the top of a tree near me as I hadn't got my camera quite ready, took the cap off but hadn't switched it on, then I zoomed it back but it was already out, it was on landscape so I switched to auto but by the time I got it it was a landscape shot! This is what cold dull weather does to the brain, lol.

The Jay was up in the shade of the farthest row of oaks, but the pics did lighten up a little. It was having a preen, then eating I guess an acorn, but it was then behind a branch so only got both ends of it.

Here it is fluffing it's feathers.
